From 2020: The last year of my Ph.D. program

When Abdullah Oguz’s scooter battery failed on campus, his fellow UNC Greensboro graduate students pushed him to where he needed to go. The Turkey native values such teamwork, in-person and online. He is a doctoral student researching social behavior and business performance in the global virtual workplace. The future professor seeks ways to discourage and prevent cyberbullying, which enhance the ability of global virtual teams to work together to reach their final destination. #UNCGWay

My research interests consist of workplace cyberbullying and cyber deviance, cybersecurity (both internal and external threats), the impact of workplace surveillance on cybersecurity measures, the digitalization of the workplace, global virtual teams, the societal impact of IT use, effects of technology use on well-being, business analytics, societal implications of big data analytics, agile project management, global information technology management, global digital divide, use of IS in supply chain management, and e-government adoption.
